Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Greeto, a business messaging and customer conversation platform owned and operated by Northstar Edtech Private Limited ("Northstar Edtech", "we", "us", or "our"). Greeto is a brand of Northstar Edtech Private Limited. By creating an account, accessing, or using Greeto (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.
1. The Service
Greeto allows businesses ("Business Users") to connect messaging channels such as WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram, Messenger, and Telegram, to manage conversations, contacts, campaigns, templates, and automated workflows with their own customers ("End Users"), and to connect Google Business Profile locations to read and reply to their Google reviews, and YouTube channels to read, reply to and moderate comments on their videos. Some features rely on third-party platforms (including Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram, and Messenger APIs, and Google's Business Profile APIs) and are subject to those platforms' own terms and policies, in addition to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used to circumvent these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages to recipients who have not consented to receive them, in violation of applicable law (including India's IT Act, TRAI regulations, and equivalent laws in your jurisdiction) or the messaging platform's own policies.
- Violate Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the Meta Platform Terms, or any other connected platform's terms of service.
- Send content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Send messages relating to prohibited or restricted goods and services under Meta's Commerce Policy, including (without limitation) illegal drugs, weapons, or counterfeit goods.
- Distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Post Google review replies that break Google's content policies, or use the Service to offer incentives for reviews, post fake reviews, or otherwise manipulate a business's ratings.
- Connect a Google Business Profile location, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number that you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our prior written consent.
- Use the Service to collect or process personal data unlawfully, or in a manner that violates applicable data protection law.
Business Users are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required from End Users before messaging them, and for the content of the messages, templates, and automated workflows they send through the Service.
4. Connected Platform Compliance
Access to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger messaging features is provided through Meta's official APIs and is subject to Meta's ongoing approval and policies. We may disable or restrict a connected channel if Meta suspends, restricts, or revokes access to the underlying WhatsApp Business Account, Instagram account, or Page, or if we reasonably believe continued use would violate Meta's policies. We are not responsible for actions Meta or any other third-party platform takes with respect to a Business User's account, number, or content.
Google Business Profile features use Google's official APIs and are subject to the Google APIs Terms of Service, Google's Business Profile policies, and Google's ongoing approval. Review replies sent through Greeto are posted publicly on Google under the business's name; Business Users are responsible for their content, including replies sent by auto-reply rules they turn on. Google may limit, delay, or remove replies or a location's access, and we may disconnect a location if Google revokes access.
Greeto's YouTube features use YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel to Greeto, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Replies posted and videos uploaded through Greeto appear as your channel, and you are responsible for them (including that you hold the rights to the videos you upload and set "made for kids" correctly) and for the comments you choose to remove.
5. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payment
- Certain features require a paid subscription plan. Fees, billing cycles, and included usage are described at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you agree to Razorpay's applicable terms for payment processing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, in accordance with the plan terms shown at checkout.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated at the time of purchase.
- We may change our pricing with reasonable prior notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Your Content and Data
Business Users retain ownership of the contact lists, message content, templates, and other data they upload to or generate through the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. AI-Assisted Features
Where enabled, Greeto may use third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) to suggest or generate replies, review responses, templates, and workflow drafts based on the content involved. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate in some circumstances; Business Users are responsible for reviewing automated behavior configured on their account and for the messages ultimately sent to End Users.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding (including the "Greeto" name and logo), is owned by Northstar Edtech Private Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), Telegram, Google (Business Profile, YouTube, Gemini), Anthropic, Razorpay, Cloudinary, Bunny CDN, Zeptomail, Mailgun, Mailchimp, Fast2SMS, Twilio, and Exotel, depending on which features a Business User enables. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or policies of these third-party providers.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WHERE THAT DEPENDS ON THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS SUCH AS META'S OR GOOGLE'S APIS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORTHSTAR EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northstar Edtech Private Limited, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, including any claims brought by your End Users or by Meta, Google, or another connected platform.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by a connected platform (such as Meta or Google) revoking access, or if we discontinue the Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; certain provisions of these Terms (including Sections 8, 10, 11, and 12) survive termination.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms, such as by posting an updated version on this page or notifying you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
